Contactless Cross Fader

　クロスフェーダーの稼働ピッチは最適といわれる45ｍｍ。そして、その周囲はパネル隙間に爪が引っかからないように十分なフラットエリアを確保するために、ひとまわり大きなCFパネルとなっています。
　Operatable pitch is 45mm which is said the most suitable. And the around area is CF panel for securing ample flat area to prevent for catching nails.

　クロスフェーダーの動作は電圧制御増幅器（VCA）の増幅度を変化させることにより音量を変えています。　一般に、このような動作をさせるにはVCA用のICを使い、コントロール用の電圧を加変させていますが、鳳凰ではこのVCA回路もディスクリートで構成しています。
　The movement of cross fader changes the volume by the amplification degree of VCA.
In general, this operation is executed by IC for VCA to change the voltage for control but Phoenix is used discrete for VCA circuit too.

　鳳凰DJミキサーのクロスフェーダーには、6個の高性能磁気センサーを搭載した非接触式タイプのオリジナル部品を採用。　クロスフェーダーの位置情報を、センサーが稼働部に接触することなく感知するため、接触消耗による劣化が有りません。　また、クロスフェーダーそのものには、音声信号を通しておらず、耗による「ガリノイズ」の発生もありません。
　Cross fader of Phoenix(=Houou) is equipped with contactless original part which is amounted the six high quality magnetic sensors. The sensor can confirm the location of cross fader without contacting mechanical part therefore there is no deterioration.

　クロスフェーダーがどのような動きをしても、その時間とともに変化する位置情報を精密に常にマイコンが監視。その情報は高精度なプログラムにより、電圧情報としてプレミアムディスクリート回路のVCAに送られ音量をコントロールします。（↓イメージ図）
Even if cross fader makes any move, microcomputer always observes the location information over time. The observed information sent to premium discrete circuit as the voltage information by high spec program controls the volume. ( ↓ Image)

　最新のデジタル技術を使った制御方法を採用していますが、上のイメージ図でわかるように、音声信号はデジタル処理の回路およびICは通していないので上質なサウンドへの影響はありません。
　The latest digital technology is adopted but as you can see the image above, it doesn’t affect the sound because the sound signal doesn’t pass digital processing circuit and IC.

　フェーダー本体は、ぐらつきが少なく安定した動きを実現するために、デュアルレールになっており、そしてそのレールの加工・組み立て精度は高い水準により、ストレスを感じない適度な滑らかさと安定さを指先で感じることができるでしょう。
　Fader itself is made by dual rail to accomplish the stable movement.
Thanks to the high level of processing and assembling, you can feel moderate and stable movement by your fingers.

デュアルレール、広いピッチの3支点により安定した動きを実現しています

　さらに、両サイドの跳ね返りには細心の注意を払っています。　滑らかさを追求すると、跳ね返りが大きくなりますが、跳ね返りを利用するクラブスクラッチ、跳ね返リ過ぎると出来ないジャグリング、双方のプレイをやり易い適度な係数を実現しています。
　ベスタクス社のファイナル２CHミキサーPMC-05PRO4では満足しきれなかった内容を、この鳳凰では改良し、数段進んだレベルに向上されています。。
　In addition, we paid close attention to the both sides of rebound. The range of rebound would be bigger with rebound investigated, but considered scratch using rebound and juggling which is unplayable with rebound too much, moderate coefficients is accomplished for making both plays easier. The content which Vestax final 2CH mixer PMC-05PRO4 couldn’t fill up, Phoenix(=Houou) is improved to compensate it at the level that far advanced.

　クロスフェーダーユニットは、パネルの四隅のねじを外し、引き上げてコネクターを抜くことで、取り外すことが可能です。
Cross fader unit is detachable by removing the screws of the corners and pulling the connector.

　もし、フェーダーメンテナンスが必要な場合や、寿命で交換が必要になった時、ユーザー自身で行えるような構造になっています。　現場での急なメンテナンス対応はもちろんのこと、長い年月に渡りご愛用して頂くことを前提に設計しています。
If fader needed maintenance or replacement, you can operate by yourself. It is designed for sudden maintenance work and long-time use.
